ಪ್ರಜ್ಞಾ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮೇರಿಕಾ ಸಂತನ ಸಂವಾದ

ಕಡೂರುಃ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅಂಶಗಳು ವಿಶ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ದಾರಿದೀಪವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅಮೇರಿಕಾ ದೇಶದ  ಸಂತ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಗೊರಿಕ್ ಧ್ರುವ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು.

ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಪ್ರಜ್ಞಾ ಸೆಂಟ್ರಲ್ ಸ್ಕೂಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಧ್ರುವ ಅವರು ಮಾನವೀಯ ಗುಣಗಳ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ಚಿಂತನೆ ಕುರಿತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂವಾದಿಸಿ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.

ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿಳಿತವಾಗಿರುವ ತ್ಯಾಗ ಮನೋಭಾವ, ಮಾನವೀಯ ಗುಣಗಳು,ಸ್ನೇಹಪರತೆ,ವಿಶ್ವಭ್ರಾತೃತ್ವ, ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಗೌರವಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ವಿವಿಧತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏಕತೆಯ ಗುಣ,ಸರ್ವಧರ್ಮ ಸಮನ್ವಯತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆಗಾಧ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಇವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಪಾರವಾಗಿ ಆಕರ್ಷಿಸಿತು. ಯಾವುದೇ ಆಧುನಿಕ ಪರಿಕರಗಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಕೇವಲ ಗಣಿತದ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಗ್ರಹಗಳ ಚಲನೆಯನ್ನು ಕರಾರುವಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಗ್ರಹಿಸುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ಭಾರತೀಯ ನೆಲದಲ್ಲಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಅದ್ಭುತವೇ ಸರಿ.  ಆರ್ಯಭಟ ಮುಂತಾದ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳು ಭಾರತೀಯರ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಿಶ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾರಿದರು. ಖಗೋಳ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತೀಯರಿಗೆ ಇರುವ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಆಧುನಿಕ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಕ್ಕೂ ಸವಾಲಾಗಿದೆ.ಈ ಎಲ್ಲ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಲೇ ಭಾರತದ ಮೂಲ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರೊಳಗಿನ ಮಾನವೀಯ ನೆಲೆಗಟ್ಟಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧ್ಯಯನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಿ ಕಾರ್ಯತತ್ಪರನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದರು.

ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಜೊತೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಮೂಲ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ  ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಮಾನವೀಯ ಗುಣಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ವಿಶ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ದಾರಿದೀಪವಾಗಿದೆ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ

ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳು, ಇಂಟರ್ ನೆಟ್ ಮುಂತಾದವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಲ ಕಳೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇವಲ ನಮ್ಮ ಜ್ಞಾನವೃದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿಯಷ್ಟೆ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಬೇಕು. ಅದೇ ಸಮಯವನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಬಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಯ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡಲು ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಿದರೆ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಜ್ಞಾನ ನಮ್ಮದಾಗಿತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದರು.

ಬಾರತೀಯ ನೆಲದ ಬದುಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬದುಕಿಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಇದೆ. ಪಾಶ್ಚಾತ್ಯ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹ ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪಠ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಭಾರತಿಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ  ತನ್ನ ಮಾನವೀಯ ನೆಲೆಗಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದಲೇ ವಿಶ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಹತ್ತಿರವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ,ಹಣ, ಐಷಾರಾಮಿ ಜೀವನ ಇಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲೆ ಗಮನವಿರಿಸದೆ ಮಾನವೀಯತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಧರ್ಮದ ಕಡೆಗೂ ಗಮನ ಹರಿಸಿ ನಮ್ಮ ನೆಲದ ಹಿರಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು.

ಪಾಶ್ಚಾತ್ಯ ಉಡುಪುಗಳು ದೇಹ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನದ ವಿಕೃತಿಯಷ್ಟೆ. ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಉಡುಪುಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು‌ ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಭಾರತೀಯ ಉಡುಗೆಗಳೂ ಸಹ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರದ ಪ್ರತೀಕವಾಗಿದೆಎಂದ ಅವರು,

ಕೇವಲ ಹಣ ಮಾಡುವುದಷ್ಟೆ ಜೀವನದ ಧ್ಯೇಯವಲ್ಲ. ಮನುಷ್ಯತ್ವದ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದಿಷ್ಟು ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕು.ಮದ್ಯಪಾನ,ಧೂಮಪಾನ ಅಥವಾ ಮತ್ಯಾವುದೋ ಅನ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವನ ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ

ಪುರುಷರು ಒಬ್ಬ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಸಹೋದರನಾಗಿ, ತಂದೆಯಾಗಿ,ಪತಿ ಯಾಗಿ, ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಒಬ್ಬ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ತಾಯಿಯಾಗಿ, ಸಹೋದರಿಯಾಗಿ, ಪತ್ನಿಯಾಗಿ, ಗುರುವಾಗಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಬದುಕಬಹುದು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದರು.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರು ಹಲವಾರು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಧ್ರುವ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೇಳಿ ಉತ್ತರ ಪಡೆದರು. ಪ್ರಜ್ಞಾ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಎನ್.ಪಿ.ಮಂಜುನಾಥ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನ, ಶಾಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ವರ್ಗದವರು ಇದ್ದರು.

ಬಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಎಂಬುದು ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲ- ಅದು ವಾಸ್ತವ ಎಂಬುದು ಧ್ರುವ ಅವರ ಖಚಿತ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ.

American saint and resource person Gorik Dhruva opined that the elements in Indian culture are a beacon for the world.
Dhruva interacted with students at Pragna Central School in the city and spoke about the importance of human qualities and positive thinking.

The spirit of sacrifice, human qualities, friendliness, universal brotherhood, mutual respect and unity in diversity, harmony of all religions and vast knowledge that are present in Indian culture attracted me immensely. It is amazing that the ability to accurately understand the movement of planets on the basis of mathematics without any modern tools is present in Indian soil. Scientists like Aryabhata have shown the potential of Indians to the world. The knowledge that Indians have in astronomy is a challenge even for modern science. For all these reasons, he said, he has given more importance to the study of India’s original culture and the human foundation within it and is working hard.

Students should develop love for our original culture along with education. Indian culture, which contains human qualities, is a beacon for the world. Students spend time on social media, the Internet, etc. It should be used only for our knowledge. If we use the same time to study our Indian culture, we will gain amazing knowledge, he said.
Indian life has everything we need for life. Even in Western countries, texts about this have been implemented in education. Indian culture is getting closer to the world from its humanistic foundation. Students should not focus so much on education, money, luxurious life, but should also focus on humanity and religion and maintain the greatness of our land.
Western clothes are just a distortion of body display. Indian traditional clothes reflect our culture. Indian clothes are also a symbol of culture, he said,
Just making money is not the goal of life. He said that Indian culture tells us how men can live as good brothers, fathers, husbands, and women as good mothers, sisters, wives, and teachers without wasting their lives in drinking, smoking, or any other activity.

Gorika Dhruv….an American citizen… …has immense knowledge and love for Indian culture. In addition, Dhruv has visited historical temples across India and published their history and special features in several books. The book Narasimha- the lost temples has been reprinted in lakhs of copies.

Dhruv is of the firm opinion that Indian culture is not a belief – it is a reality.
